Direct On-Line (DOL) method is the simplest starting method for 3-phase pump set. L&T Electrical & Automation (E&A) offers two variants of DOL method – starter and controller.

DOL starters are basic electrical starters with contactors and relay for ON/OFF operation and overload protection of the pump set.

Over and above the ON/OFF operation and overload protection features equipped in Controllers, it also provides additional features like Auto ON, indications of Supply ON/OFF and Pump ON/OFF, reading of real time voltage & current of pump with unique Dual analog meter. Single phasing protection relay (SPPR) inside Controller unit provides the advanced protection features viz. single-phasing prevention, phase-reversal protection, phase-unbalance protection, variable time-delay adjustment for delayed operation of pump set.

Star Delta Starting is one of the methods of starting 3-Phase pump-sets. In Fully Automatic version of Star-Delta (FASD) Starter, the changeover from star winding to delta winding is done with the help of a timer. L&T Electrical & Automation (E&A) offers two variants of FASD – called starters and controllers.

FASD starters are basic electrical starters with contactor and relay combination for ON-OFF operation and overload protection of the pump-sets. Over and above the ON/OFF operation and overload protection features equipped in Controllers, it also provides additional features like Auto ON, indications of Supply ON/OFF and Pump ON/OFF, reading of real time voltage & current of pump with unique Dual analog meter. Heavy Duty Capacitors

Our Heavy Duty Capacitors are metallized polypropylene (MPP) capacitors. The capacitors come with stacked windings. The box capacitors are impregnated with a non-PCB biodegradable resin The cylindrical Capacitors are subjected to an extended period of drying after which the casing is filled with an inert gas to prevent corrosion of the winding elements and inner electrical contacts. Compact design ensures space saving. Heavy Duty capacitors have a long life of 150000 hours.

LTXL: Ultra-Heavy Duty Capacitors

The LTXL ultra-heavy duty capacitors are advanced APP capacitors. They can withstand heavy load fluctuations, high inrush current and harmonics. They can be used in applications such as welding, steel rolling, etc., with heavy load fluctuations, high harmonic distortion levels (non-linear load >15%) and systems with high dv / dt. The capacitor is designed to operate at ambient temperature up to 70deg C.

M-POWER – Module for mobile starter is the product for remote operation of pump set through a mobile phone. The farmer can operate his pump set at the farm through his mobile from anywhere. He just has to give a “Miss Call” to ON / OFF the pump in his farm.

M-POWER is an auxiliary unit connected along with the starter/controller so that once connected with starter, user can control the operation of starter/controller from anywhere anytime.

Overview

L&T Electrical & Automation’s Agriculture Submersible Flat Cables are made of bright, plain multi-strand annealed copper conductor, as per class 5 of IS:8130:1984. These cables are used for Agricultural submersible pump set applications and are available in 3 core - 500 meter & 1000 meter drums.

Voltage Grade 1.1 kV (1100 V) conforming to IS:694:1990.

XLPE Agricultural Flat Cables - These wires are made of cross-linked polyethylene material with high continuous conductor temperature - 90 C and high intermittent overloading - 130 C. Since it has better corrosion resistance, it is suitable for alkaline hard water areas.
